Job Description: With their block sloping away from the house, making a difficult play area for their small children, the client requested TLC to design an entertainment/play area to maximise the useable area surrounding the pool. The design eventually ended up with paving from the patio out to the midpoint of the pool, and then changing to a rich hardwood deck, finishing short of the side boundary, and then changing into a planter box below the level of the deck, so that plants would eventually create a backdrop to the pool/play area.
